Vacuum type gas chlorinator - Aqua introduces Aqua-II Vaccum Type Gas Chlorinator.
It bring together many technological advances designed to enhance long- term reliability and achieve optimum performance with minimum maintenance and supervision. The chlorine regulator can be mounted either on a wall or on top of the gas cylinder or container. Correct operation depends on acquiring healthy vacuum from the ejector. Water flowing through the ejector creates a vacuum, which opens the inlet valve to accept the gas into the regulator. The ejector consists of a vacuum producing venturi and a spring loaded diaphragm check valve. The gas passes through the flow meter and the rate control valve, and then to ejector where it is thoroughly mixed and dissolved in the water and carried to the application point as a solution. The vacuum failure automatically shuts off the supply of chlorine gas and ensures that no gas escapes into the atmosphere. There is an automatic vent to atmosphere if pressure builds up in the regulator. If the source of chlorine gas is exhausted or the gas line plugged, the excess vacuum valve in the regulator closes to prevent any moisture being pulled back into the regulator or the gas supply lines. AQUA-II gas chlorinator and ejector are constructed from PVC, VICTOM, monel, Teflon, and extra--duty borosilicate glass, silver and copper materials.

Gas Chlorinator - Aqua Services presents Gas Cholrinator. It has been adapted to open designand due to this it is easier to detect possible leak in time. Chlorine gas from cylinder get into the primary filter through copper connecting pipe where chlorine gas filtered by glass wool passes through needle valve, which controls the flow of chlorine gas. Diaphragm pressure gauge shows the pressure of filled chlorine. cylinder. Again chlorine gas coming through PVC 'U' bend with non-return valve allows chlorine gas to pass into mixing chamber orifice tube and restricts water from mixing chamber. Chlorine gas and water are mixed proportionally by orifice tube of mixing chamber resulting into chlorine solution, which flows through PVC 'U' bend at the top into adjoining solutioniser. Solution is fed into an open chamber or underground sump by gravity pressure. If it is to be supplied to any pressure pipe a special plastic injector along with a suitable booster pump and motor is provided. Moist chlorine gas is very corrosive. Precautions are taken to exclude moisture coming in contact with metallic parts of the chlorinator, so all parts where gas and water come in contact are made from rigid PVC, which is immune to corrosive action of wet chlorine gas. Non-return valve on the top of the secondary filter will prevent water coming into the filter. It will be collected in the glass moisture tube at the bottom of the filter and can be removed easily when noticed by the operator.
