The centralisers give dependable adjustments with guaranteed accuracies: for aligning main spindle axis with the central axes of bores, pins, shafts, etc; for positioning of the main spindle axis over the edge of the work piece; for setting the machine surface perpendicular to the main spindle; and for using the device in geometrical testing of machine tool. Citizen make centralisers, has working range for diameters up to 480 mm, using the extension probe. With angular probe can solve any adjustment problem, even in hard to reach locations. The surface probe insert solves the problem on plane surfaces. The main feature of the centraliser is - the dial indicator is stationary and always in view, so avoids measurement error, due to parallax.
