Hydraulic Clamping System - Hydraulic Clamping System is yet another innovative venture from Concept Engineers. The advent of hydraulic clamping system uncovers new ways in mastering the most difficult situation with firm thoroughness. Sophisticated technology, perfect construction and special materials make the clamping devices a creation ahead of the conventional work holding fixtures in clamping force, clamping accuracy and load torque. Whereas remarkable technical advance has been made on machines and machine tools, clamping fixtures scarcely changed. Hence, the available productivity and precision of the machine was not transferred to the component to be machined to a great extent. Hydraulic arbors and chucks offer an optimum solution to this weak link in a machining chain. Hydraulic holding devices on the one hand reduce cost and improves quality in almost all areas of machining and inspection while on the other solves the most difficult clamping problems. Hydraulic expanding arbors and chucks could be applied successfully in inspection of components accurately. Many of the inspection requirement not possible by mechanical means could be solved by using hydraulic devices. Requirement of additional skill and low maintenance cost is not neede for this and that's the greatest advantage of this device.

Gear PCD Runout Checking Device - Manufactured by Concept Engineers the Gear PCD Runout Checking Device is used for inspecting the run out of pitch circle diameter of a gear. This is a high precision measuring unit with a continual accuracy of less than 0.002 mm. The base, the table, the tailstock and the head are made out of close-grained castings. The base is having a box structure adequately ribbed for rigidity. Pillar and other ware parts are made out of alloy steel and hardened appropriately. The gear to be inspected is mounted on an arbor (either on a Concept hydraulic expanding arbor or on a taper arbor). The arbor along with the gear is in turn mounted between center of the device. The tailstock could be moved by loosening the knob. Further adjustment can be made by loosening the knob. The gear can be positioned to the center of the ball by rotating the knob. The head can be moved up or down by rotating the handle to pre-load the dial. When lever is moved, the dial retracts, the gear is indexed and the lever operated to obtain reading. The operation is repeated to obtain the total PCD error. The dial can move up or down by 10 mm. The table can be moved in X axis by 100 mm. The head can be moved up and down by 75 mm in Z axis. Center height 100 mm. Admit between centers 275 mm.
