Locking & Retaining Compound - A wide range of Locking & Retaining Compunds are the latest attraction from Acrabond Adhesives Pvt Ltd.These are specially designed resins (monomers ) to stop vibrational loosening and seals against leakages and corrosion. These are used mainly in automobile, mechanical and electrical applications. Typical applications are locking of bolts, fixing of co-axial components such as cylinder liners, bearings pulley, shafts, and many more. Load transmission characteristics of cylindrical joints are increased, reducing stresses and equipment downtime costs. Thread locking compounds are available in four grades: Grade 20 - medium viscosity, low strength; Grade 24 - medium strength; Grade 26 - high strength, high temperature type; and Grade 28 - very low viscosity penetrating grade adhesive. Retaining compounds are available in two grades: Grade 34 - medium strength, low viscosity; and Grade 38 - very high strength retention up to 28 N/mm² on steel components. Also obtainable is hydraulic and pneumatic sealant, Grade 92, a low viscosity sealant developed for threaded pneumatic and hydraulic fittings and structural bonding Grade SA 266, a very high strength acrylic based impact resistant, non-rigid type structural adhesive.

RTV silicon sealant, Potting compounds - RTV Silicon Sealant Potting compounds are the latest introduction from Acrabond Adhesives. AcraBond RTV adhesive sealant is a high strength all purpose one-component silicone sealant. It sticks excellently to vulcanized rubber, ceramic, fiber, metal, glass, painted and plastic surface. It exhibits excellent service temperature range, good weather resistance, chemical stability and wonderful bond strength. Potting compound Poten is a 2-component elastomeric resin formulation used as potting and abridging compound, basically in auto component manufacturing, air filter assembly and electronic industries. The cast is soft, flexible and has a high tare and excellent thermal resistance.
