Disc Springs for Heavy Duty Bolt Section - Windston Springs presents disc springs for heavy duty bolt section. These disc springs are specifically designed for heavy bolted sections like those used in electrical industries on bus bar applications, transformers, thyroids, transmissions, heat exchangers, rectifiers, etc. They are widely used to compensate for developed looseness due to thermal expansion of bolted sections. Special disc springs are made of high quality premium spring steel, chrome vanadium (EN 47), and also available with zinc plating or cadmium plating. For corrosive environment, disc springs made from Martensitic stainless steel duly heat treated are strongly recommended. For special applications, disc springs of non magnetic stainless steel are also manufactured against request.
