CNC wirecut EDM - Electronica comes through with their latest innovative venture, the CNC wirecut EDM. It gives cutting speed of 40 mm˛/min and taper angle ±3° over 100 mm; ii) Ecocut - a CNC wirecut EDM that offers higher operating economics. It has traverses X, Y as 250, 350 with cutting speed of 70 mm˛/min and capable of producing taper of ±5( over 100 mm. It incorporates e-Pulse technology for consistent performance. The offline part programming system Elapt is supplied as standard; iii) Sprintcut 864 - large size CNC wirecut EDM having traverses X, Y, Z as 600, 400 and 300. A stationary work table allows to carry workpiece up to 1 tonne. CNC pulse generator is based on 32 bit dual architecture PC which incorporates e-Pulse technology for consistent performance with cutting speed up to 160 mm˛/min. It offers max taper of (30(over 100 mm; and iv) Ultracut 843. This is a top end high precision 5-axes CNC machine having traverses X, Y as 400 and 300. For the first time the company would be introducing an automatic wire threading (AWT) feature for total unattended operation. Anticollision, auto power recovery, hand held remote control are among the few new features. With the e-Pulse technology the higher cutting speed upto 200 mm˛/min is available. The 14" colour LCD panel offers optional multilingual display. Windows based part-programming software Elcam is offered with the machine.
