3-Phase DC spot Welding Machine - Presented by Mechelonic Engineers the 3-phase DC spot welding machine, Model DC-SS is designed for heavy duty production work. These machines are used for welding non ferrous and ferrous metal fabrication to aerospace weld standards. The machine is specially perfect for welding aircraft components, rail coach building and components which call for very large throats. The machine is provided with micro-processor based control to obtain consistent and accurate weld results. T Its technical specifications are as follows: capacity - 75 to 600 kVA at 50 per cent duty cycle; throat depth - 400 - 2500 mm. Special features: wide welding range, longer electrode life, no inductive losses-less effect of throat-area, no effect of magnetic material between the arms, high quality welds, larger nugget diameter without cracks or spatters, faster and smooth heat build-up for welding, less heat input to work pieces, hence less deformations, top quality welds on steel, SS Nemonics (nickel alloys), light metals (aluminium and magnesium alloys).
